The latest release was completely re-written from the ground up to give you more control over your ads and improve ad delivery.

New Ad Sizes

With WP Tad Ads 2.0 there are 4 ad sizes

  1. 125×125
  2. 180×150
  3. 468×60
  4. 728×90

New Ad Style Control

With WP Tad Ads 2.0 you have complete control over the font and background colors much like in Google Adsense.

You can now set keywords if you don’t want to use post tags to deliver ads. Ultimately this is a custom field but presented a bit nicer. This method allows you to target specific keywords more effectively

Gonzalez http://www.wptagads.com/?p=45 The WP Tag Ads project started about a year ago as a way for me to play with the eBay api and learn how to query the api. In that RedBull driven moment, I thought I might be able to turn this into a cool WordPress plugin. Since then, tens of thousands WordPress blog owners have installed the plugin.

Last night while I was playing xBox 360, I convinced myself that I need to do more with WP Tag Ads, so today I gave it a real home on the net!

In the next couple of days I will be completely reworking the guts of WP Tag Ads core software and even switching the service to use a better affiliate service. This means making you more MONEY!

WP Tag Ads has been getting more and more attention so I thought I would take a look under the hood, here are some of the enhancements I have made.

WP Tag Ads allows webmasters to have more control over the ads that are served on WordPress blogs. WP Tag Ads delivers ads based on post tags.

  • Keywords only get added to the system if the character length is greater then 4 characters
  • Improved ad results when no ads can be located for post
  • Improved MySQL queries
  • Improved database schema
