I recently had some time to spend on optimizing back-end processes that affect speed and optimization for delivering ads. WP Tag Ads has been getting more and more attention so I thought I would take a look under the hood, here are some of the enhancements I have made.

WP Tag Ads allows webmasters to have more control over the ads that are served on WordPress blogs. WP Tag Ads delivers ads based on post tags.

• Keywords only get added to the system if the character length is greater then 4 characters
• Improved ad results when no ads can be located for post
• Improved MySQL queries
• Improved database schema
